ALEXANDER MCQUEEN FOR TARGET

Yes, the rumors are true. Alexander McQueen is going to create a diffusion line for Target. In an interview for W Magazine, the designer stated that he wanted more visibility in the US, more specifically the Midwest (yay Cleveland!).

To be launched in March 2009, McQueen is creating a line for Target's Designer Collaborations series. Not to be confused with the highly lucrative GO International label, this line aims to bring high-end designs and creations by established designers to the mass market.

GROTTO WINE BAR: An Interview with Fabio Salerno

Amidst the reports of recent restaurant closings all over the Northeast Ohio region, a wonderful restaurant and wine bar, Grotto, recently opened in the historic Shaker Square. Helmed by father and son team, Ricardo and Fabio Salerno, owners of Gusto in Little Italy and Lago in Tremont, this charming new spot is truly a gem. My favorites are the lamb chops, shrimp risotto, and the light yet flavorful, gorgonzola salad.
