Best Albums of 2010This is Happening by LCD Soundsystem
Debuting at #10 in the Billboard charts, the newest album by James Murphy et al has been hailed as a critical and commercial success. Opening with the track, "Dance Yrself Clean," which was sampled by Kid Cudi for his newest single, "All Talk", and ending with the unexpectedly upbeat, "Home", this album is amazing from beginning to end.
The Filter Picks: "Dance Yrself Clean", "You Wanted A Hit", "One Touch", "Home", "I Can Change"

The Black Keys Brothers Brothers by The Black Keys
The latest album from the amazing duo from Akron, Ohio is the group's highest charting album to date, selling approximately 75,000 during it's first weekend.  Filled with a good number of solid songs, this album definitely makes our top album list. Check out Dan Auerbach's surprisingly good falsetto on the first track, "Everlasting Light".

The Frugal Fashionista: Costello Tagliapietra x Uniqlo

Costello Tagliapietra for Uniqlo Finally! The much-awaited collaboration between Jeffrey Costello and Robert Tagliapietra's smart and sophisticated design sense with the simple yet trendy design aesthetic of Japanese uberbrand, Uniqlo, has finally come to fruition. The Top Albums of 2010TOP ALBUMS OF 2010 PART TWO

We saw a great number of amazing albums during the first quarter of this year. Here are our top album picks for 2010 (so far)...

Best Albums of 2010American Ghetto by Portugal. The Man
Hailing from (gasp!) Wasilla, Alaska, this prodigious rock group is far from anything Palin-esque. Made up of the former members of Anatomy of a Ghost, Portugal the Man's 6th studio album is so eclectic, it runs the range between electro, indie-rock, psychedelia, and more. Unexpectedly catchy and upbeat, there is definitely nothing ghetto about this album.
The Filter Picks: "The Dead Dog", "All My People", "The Pushers Party", "When The War Ends"
